I want to swap my D16Y5 (w/ CVT and P2N ECU) w/ a D15B w/ 5 speed. My hope is that I can do the swap in two stages...convert to 5 speed first, then the D15B engine when I have more money. Do I have to swap the engine and transmission at the same time since I'll be changing the ECU too? Or, will the P08 ECU + D15B tranny work with my D16Y5 engine?

i know if you run a normal auto ecu with a 5 speed you just throw a cel but the car runs fine, not sure on a cvt thoug
