Do I need to remove subframe to take trans out?

I have a 2006 Honda Civic EX, From what I’m researching I have to move the sub frame out just to pull the transmission?

most of the time i follow the repair manuals on this type of job. ive done a few without a chilton or Haynes manual and the extra time i spent trying to figure out how to do something vs a 15 dollar book. several times ive found situations where i could do something easier tho.
