DTC Code P0215 on my '96 Civic
Hoping to get some answers here !
My trusted old Civic (1996, LX, 1,50.000 Miles) well maintained car, gave me the Check Engine Light. Took it to the dealer and he recommended replacement of transmission due to DTC code P0215 - Engine Shutoff Solenoid (No clue what it mean !!)
The car drives well, and I dont see any issues during the driving (no tell tale signs). What could be wrong ? What are my options to get this fixed.

I am not a car guy, but I can certainly use the knowlege gained here effective. Thanks once again !
