I dont 'know who started the whole "cheap short shifters break under hard shifting" but I would love to meet this friggin superhero. They are cheaper becasue they are cast aluminum and dont' come with a damn Skunk2 sticker. I will admit that I like my S2 one better than the ebay one I had, but it's just becasue of the weight of it; and 95% of that is the 10lb/$60 **** that I bought with it.

If you dont' want to spend $150 on a shifter, rock an ebay one. Totally worth the 10 bucks. Actually, if you want one, I will send you my old one or free.

Ummm Yeah I bought one for my hatch about a month ago.. It worked great.. But then in a race shifting hard to 2nd gear.. i broke it off right where the threads are.. so yeah.. ummm if you want a short shifter but your not going to use it in racing i would say buy it ... but if your are going to race with it.. SPEND THE MONEY

Forty, I have the dual bend....I hated it at first....and now the shifter feels loose for some reason...so I gotta get under there and figure out what went wrong when the tow-truck driver dropped the car...

Prothane bushings will give a better "feel" than a short shifter.
