I have a 94 civic with a gsr motor swap and an lsd tranny(y21). I need a new clutch for the tranny but don't know what year the tranny is. Are the clutches interchangable in the lsd transmissions?

purchase a cluth for your year tranny. regardless if its a lsd unit or not the clutch is the same size and spline count according to year designation.
