Default HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a 94 civic ex 1.6 vetec 5 speed
When I bought the car I noticed a noise (knocking sound).
Clutch in= NO NOISE
Clutch out= NOISE
I assumed that the throwout bearing was worn and causing the noise, but I had the complete clutch kit (Exedy stock) replaced last week and the noise is still there.
does anyone have any ideas as to where I need to go from here?

What is the going rate for tranny rebuild and or used to be replaced?

Are the main bearings press fit or mesh fit?

press fit IIRC, but they're easy to replace...a professional rebuild may be 500-700, a used one may be 300-400
