Clutch wears down faster. Screw up? nothing I can think of. Maybe synchro life goes down a bit too, not entirely sure on that one though. Just quit doing it will be chill.

you are spinning two grated surfaces together for a longer period of time, so it will burn your clutch out faster.

Driving a car for a year now??? If your still riding and grinding your clutch, change your habits or buy an automatic. Dont mean to be too harsh, but I dont want the clutch to give out on you and leave you stranded... you get better...peace

I've also been holding my clutch pedal down during break lights... wish I knew earlier.
I can't seem to get a perfect launch when I'm in neutral either, the civy tends to jerk acouple times. What am I doing wrong? I've gotten opposite answers from friends, and I trust them both. But someone doesn't know what he's talking about.

sounds like ur either giving too much gas or not enough while lettin the clutch out. just try and go more smoothly if that makes any sense (probably not)
