Default Install clutch w/o air tools?

Honestly, would you attempt/or did some of you do this w/o air tools?

All I have is a Dewalt 18V cordless impact gun, it works great for lug nuts (supposedly good to 300lbs/ft but once you start using it this goes down, though I do have 2 quick-charge packs for it). But I don't know how effective it would be for a project like this. Plus its freakin huge, dont know if it'd even fit down there in some tight places. But it was free from a buddy at work so hey...

Already read a DIY, haynes manual. know whats involved. Just wondeirng about the air tools part.

Thanks

Oh yeah, and I guess as an aside - say I did want to get air tools, what size compressor is adequate for working on my car?

you don't need ait tools or power tools. Regular ratchets and breakers, preferably 1/2 drive for the breakers and at least one fine tooth rachet will be fine.

Thanks roto. Yeah, I know it can be done w/o air tools, definitely - but w/o any air tools at all, how much of a $##! is it going to be? How long did it take those of yall who didn't use ANY air tools at all to do?
