RE: L.S.D. Limited Slip Diff?
you have an open diff..... yes.. its GRIPOLA to have installed... its not like a rear wheel drive car, where you can just drop the rear end and just put it in... but in a front wheel drive car, you have to take apart THE WHOLE TRANNY to install LSD, which should be done by a qualified mechanic ONLY.... my friend had his tranny rebuilt, and they threw in an ACT 8lbs. flywheel and ACT clutch with the rebuild for about 1100, which is pretty good, considering he brought in the whole car, so they had to take out/install the tranny themselves.... WELL worth it though... especially for autoX

was just reading through some back posts and found a link to www.maddogtransmissions.com they dont have vehicle specific.. so wondering if anyone has already purchased one of these with LSD.. noticed they had some in there for reasonable cost..

http://www.gearspeedinc.com/ this company specializes in honda transmissions, a good lsd, like a quaife will usually run about 800-1500 dollars plus installation costs

RE: L.S.D. Limited Slip Diff?
Yeah myself and a friend will be doing swap.. just trying to figure out best way to go cost wise for transmission.. seen OE rebuilt transmissions but, not sure if they can add L.S.D to stock versions or not and if they are beefed up at all .. or if just better to get a spoon or mugen tranny
