hey guys i just picked up a 93 si...i was just wondering what can i do to lighten up the car. i know its already light but is there anything else i can do besides stripping it?

 

are you lokking to lighten it up for good or just for a quick race? if its for a quick race you could keep the gas level down really low.

 

im looking for good. wanna shave off a lot of weight.

 

Break out your wallet and order carbon everything. I assume you already gutted the interior and are down to a drivers seat and no plastic at all??
The rear windows can be replaced with lexan/plexiglas, but the appearance of rivits or bolts looks kind of silly to me. Do a search on this..someone actually weighed out all the stock stuff and replacement parts and came up with a 200lb difference I think....Custom light rims, lightened flywheel, and skinnies in the back would do just as much good.
