Default my 99 honda civic ex transmission

i have a 99 civic ex.haveing a hard time getting it to go into reverse.
manual trans.it seems that first gear may be starting to do the same.
could it be the cable or is the transmission going out.

if you move your car a little like in inch or so, starting on second gear, then shift either in 1st or reverse, is it then feel normal?? If it is, then it normal it just need to be align on the gear.

If not, then check you shift rod bushing.

Then most likely it your clutch slave cylinder, change it, and bleed it.
