I am new 2 honda and having some trouble. I just bought a 91 civic off a former member. Its the Lightining Blue ZC. It was freashly rebuilt, and as far as I know still in MINT condition.

1. The power seems very poor. Not very responsive. 1st is short 2nd, 3rd and 4th seem ok but not as quick as it should b. 5th is a waist of time unless u want to push 4th to 160 whick I am sure is not a smart move. Otherwise 5th has a 160 max. The car from what I understand has been tuner for the turbo add on. Is there anything anyone could suggest for common power loss. I am running a cx tranny whick could be the prob.

2. What is the best all around Turbo for my swap. I dont want to go bankrupt paying for it, but id like to go turbo, and use the car for what he intended to be used on it.

Please any common issues or ideas would b great.

 

trash the tranny and pick up either a dohc zc tranny or an si tranny
