Default please help

i have a 00 civic si and my clutch is going out i just wanted to know do i have to replace the entire clutch kit or can i just replace the clutch disc my car is all stock please help

I would highly suggest replacing everything clutch disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing, resurface or get a new flywheel. Becuase sometimes its not just the disk that is bad and if you have to go into the tranny any way might as well get it all done especially if your paying someone else to do it.

its best to replace everything like bcivic mentioned. the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces' could have bad heat spots, scoring or be slightly warped. the flywheel pilot bearing and throwout bearing could also be bad. best to pull the transmission out once and do everything then have to pull it apart again for a small part..
