Default R 5spds created equal

My '94 civ DX w/370k needs a new trany. I picked up a junk yard 5spd out of a '92. now I'm startn to think that gear ratios may not be the same. Does anyone know if the codes on the tranny indicate different gear ratios or throws? I'm sure they will swap, just unsure of profromance difference. I would like to stick with high gear ratio = low cruise speed rpm.

The Ex has a little shorter, sportier gears. I don't know the code right off hand though.

the codes I'm refering to are the stickers you see when you open the hood: my '94 has "C5F"with bar code and P20 printed under the bar code this sticker is located near the slave cylinder. the other sticker shows a barcode w/ S20 - 7 digit SN#
the '92 junk yard has "C5B" with bar code and P20 printed under the bar code. the other sticker is the same S/20 -different SN#
when I get it cleaned up I will check for other markings. is there anything else that would help identify what I have..

the junk yard trans came fom a DX with 68k.
my '94 I bought used in '95 w/34k. the clutch is also stock original with all those miles.....hi-way miles. I just want to make sure I keep the same final drive gear ratio. 40+mpg is a good thing these days!!
