Default Screwball Driveshaft Size

Ok, so I'm replacing my driveshaft on the driver's side (left). Get it out, and compare it to the new one. Off by about an inch. Overall length is the same, but the outter hub is a little different.

This is after attempting to just replace the outer boot, only to find that ALL "correct" boots were too small. WTF?!?!?! How can I tell what this driveshaft came out of? Don't think it's stock. It has 3 orange rings around the center.
