Default Shift Kit

I was talkin to my auto teacher today and he was tellin be about shift kits. It goes in your tranny in place of the stock automatic trans valve body. Any1 got any info on it? i was looking around google for it and all i could find was sites selling short shifters. Does any1 make a shift kit for a civc?

I don't think shift kits are manufactured for a civics. You see, civic's atomatic transmissions arn't really considered as performance tranny's, so a five speed is your best bet.

I installed one years ago (not on a Honda tho). I believe they're called a "quick shift kit". You really notice a difference since the tranny doesn't shift into the next gear smoothly as it does when stock (when you give it).
