They're made so that if you drive the car, you can drive it manually, and if your wife/girlfriend wants to drive it, she can drive it like an automatic.

my friend bought the auto -> manual conversion parts for 200$, the shop did the rest for 500$ so 700 bucks he converted

There has been a talk here before about shifting auto's like a 5speed. Well, heres a little vid of my car my friends help me make and here I do a 0-80 run shifting the tranny manually. Also the middle clip, is me accelerating in D, but after having my kickdown cable tightened, all I have to do is let off the gas and the car will shift, I get to pick the rpm.
