Default Torque Converter

One of the main problems of my transmission was that the torque converter was shot... does that mean once its fixed will I have more power? Just wondering.

lol, you're paying enough to get a turbo, but the hp gains are rather disapointing.

You won't actually get any more power by replacing the TC, but it will transfer your existing power to the ground more efficiently, so it will feel stronger.

hehe, i have an extra room. but rent is a bitch here in Sac. and i think itd be kinda expensive to tow your car to Cali. but even at a shop, you could probably get a sohc vtec (not vtec-e) swapped in for way less than 2300. labor and all. thats more than 4-5 hp to the ground. its closer to 10.[&:]
