Default Tranny problems

I have a 1997 civic LX 1.6L auto with 115000 miles. My problem starts after about 20 minutes of driving. At full stops the car jerks for about 20 feet before rolling smooth. It sort of feels like starting a manual from 3rd gear even though its an auto. I recently also changed the speed sensor as it was throwing a code but this did not fix it. Any suggestions?

It's sounds like it's starving for fuel when it lerches like that. So, I'd say it's probably a fuel issue. Possible suspects, fuel pump, clogged fuel lines, fuel injectors.

Although, my buddy's dodge neon had the same problem. After he replaced the fuel pump, filter, etc he found out that those were all okay. It was his ECU that was messing up. I would suggest taking it to a well-known mechanic if you can't inspect yourself.

I really don't think it's a fuel issue. The code pulled was P0715. I have been doing some research on and found that this vibration issue when starting from a dead stop is not new for hondas. However I haven't been able to find any possible answers as to why it is happening. I have made an appointment with a tranny specialist. Any suggestions on what I should be asking at the garage to not get screwed.
