Hey folks,

New to the forum and looking for some insights. Can't quite seem to find my issues on the search.
Have a 2001 Civic Ex 5 Spd. Sounds like a throwout bearing or bearing problem in the transmission. have been told this was a design problem in the early 7th gen. Can anyone guide me to the issues on these babies? Is it a design issue on this year or can some one point me to the most probable parts?

Techsol, u have to be a little more specific on what u are experiencing. My 2001 civic ferio, my "D"' light started to blink and when i switched off, it resets and the blinking stops. Now my "L" gear does not light up on my insru. panel when i shift until i drive a lil distance. Now my problem is when i stop on a steep hill, the car struggles to climb the hill and then the "D"lights start to blink again.
