Default What is the difference between a stock and aftermarket/performance clutch

Hey guys,

I am having my transmission and clutch replaced next week. I am curious what the difference between installing a stock clutch verses an aftermarket/performance clutch...What are the benefits in getting an aftermarket clutch? Is there a big difference in price? And does anybody know where I can buy an aftermarket clutch in person? Don't have time to get in online...

Thanks

Aftermarket is designed to hold additional power. Go to a performance shop to buy one in person. I guarantee that they will have to order it themselves anyways. If you need something right now for a stock car, just get a stock clutch. Prices vary per company.
