After almost two hours of prep, the area is masked off, and the edge of the door is sanded down using 150 grit.

Second coat. Also, gave it a quick sand with 400 grit paper. Even with 400G, the edges wear down too quickly. : (

I'm exhausted, covered in green specs, and calling it a night. Ill get the clear coat on there tomorrow...Probably after I'm done picking out all of the metallic green boogers in my nose. Silly me didnt think to put on a mask til after the 2nd coat of paint. Might also explain why I was in such a good mood while I was painting... < 8oD
