Honda Civic 2017. Does the head unit computer constantly send out queries looking for the remote or does the key fob initiate the process?

Hello. I have just purchased a 2019 Honda Civic X. The previous owner requested that the keyless access be disabled. In addition, an Omega immo ignition lock was fitted, which basically works independently. Observing your comments, I find that it is possible to disable keyless, however, as in my case it is disabled. I myself would now like to activate the keyless function and it is not possible to do so from the user level. I have already made an appointment with an authorised service centre. Have you experienced this before? Or are there any new experiences?
