Default Increasing tire size? 2023 LX

Hi all, very new to car stuff and only diy aesthetic stuff…so far. But, I want to get larger tires than I have right now bc they strike me as a little too small and it feels like they make the aesthetic of my car a little underwhelming.

car stats:
2023 Honda Civic (duh) LX
16x7 wheels
215/55/r16 factory tires

based on what I’ve researched, it seems like I could go higher in tire size to like 245/50, but I’m like only 20% sure that’s correct. Let alone whether it would be a good idea.

would appreciate any feedback on whether my car can or should have bigger tires!

I’ve also attached a picture of my car so y’all can see the vibe I mean with the current tires.

Tyres for the Honda Civic range from 175/65 R14 to 185/60 R14 and much larger sizes such as 205/45 R17, 225/45 R17, 225/40 R18 or 225/30 R19. So you undoubtedly have plenty to choose from, although bear in mind that tyre size will also have an impact on the car's handling, among other important issues.
