OK, when my girl got her '99 EX sedan the A/C and Recirc. button back lights were out BUT the rear defront button back light worked. The lights to say they were engaged worked and the A/C recirc and rear defrost functions worked fine. I got arount to changing the bulb and base for the A/C and Recirc. button backlight. Now the A/C and Recirc. butoons are back lit but the REAR DEFROST BACK LIGHT IS OUT!![:@]

Also the back light for the cuise button comes and goes. IT will be of like five min. then go out. The engaged light works and the cuise works? How do I get to this bulb for the back light in the cuise button? Can I just put a Radio shack micro bulb for 12v in the old socket I have?

 

So just spend the couple of bucks and replace the other two. Pain in the ***, but it fixes the problem and you don't have to worry about it for a while.
