I was just wondering if anyone on here was bumpin anything in their ride? you know what kind of setup do you have in your system?
I have a 250W ALPINE BASS ENGINE CD/MP# player. plugged into is my XM antenna so i get good music everyhwere i go. can listen to what i want w/o being limited. my deck has red/whites running to my 1000 watt LOGIC soundlab. amp. i have it bridged running 1000 a piece to my ALpine TYPE R 12" subs. have been popped for violating the sound ordinace a couple of times right after i first got the car. for more clear sounding highs i have audiobahn 6x8's two in the front and two in the back. very clear highs. i alos have two BLOWN 2" audiobahn tweeters ion the door panel. needa replace those(anyone have some? PM me, thanks). but over all she sound ecxellent. when i play the radio it comes through really nice and clear. the CD's are better, but XM is just unbelievable. if you don't have it you seriously need to get it. words cannot explain it. you hafta hear it for yourself. but thats what i got. lets see what you all got.

i dont know much about this nonsense, yet i have a system..i have an infinity head unit and amp driving the tweeters, mids and highs, with an MTX amp running two mtx 12s in a ported box. the infinity stuff is stock, and the mtx stuff came out of my buddys competition stereo car..so it hits pretty nicely, with the gain and bass turned almost all the way down on the amp. i believe that it is a 2400W amp...and i have a 1 farad cap.

mostly a bunch of heavy crap that slows down my already slow car. the truck has an xplod HU, amp, and 4 subs...but i dont know any more than that, as i didnt have anything to do with the install.

Pioneer DEH-P6700
Custom Ipod install
RE Components up front
Pioneer 6x9s in the rear
Concept d1200 pushing 1200 watts to
Ascendant Audio Avalanche 15" in a 3.5cf ported to 28hz
Custom box with a diamond plate baffle

The box is going to go soon, I'd rather have a smaller 'glassed in the spare tire well then this gigantic box in the trunk
142.7 @ the dash dbDrag official

To the original poster, I hate to tell you man, but that amp is only rated for 250watts per channel, or 500 bridged. Considering the price/name I'd say that is a hopefull estimate. Do those type r's right and get em something to feed them enough of what they want.

Yea the Type R's are good subs and can take alot more power than rated for, we took a 10 and it held a MTX 81000D on 35hz test tones for like 15 minutes before blowing to hell.

As far as audio, I just have a Alpine 9835 and stock speakers now, if you would have asked me this a year ago I would be spouting out a bunch of crap you guys have never herd of.

Its cool. Although the regulars here always say look at the stickies... they tend to have important info and dead horse kicking topics. ;)
