Default DIY charge piping

So I asked my local muffler shop how much it would cost to fabricate charge pipes for my 2000 si, and he told me $250 even if I bought the pipe kit from tuner toys! That seems a little steep to me just to bent a couple of pipes. I know there are a bunch of you guys on here that have put kits together and I need some help on the cheapest way to put together charge pipes, or if the price the guy gave me was way too high or not.

You can buy various pre-bent charge pipes, and then you just cut off however much of a bend you need.

Just buy a piece of pipe, some mandrel bends, and bust out a mig welder.

Voila, cheap charge piping.
