i went to a junk yard today... it had like 20 eclipse's to choose from, found that about 15 of them had turbos, i talk to the owner and he said he'd let a good turbo go for about $100 what i want to know is if the turbo it self will go on a manifold thats for my civic, and will there be any need for some mod;s or if i buy parts for my civic will the turbo itself bolt right on? if so could i possibly find some of the other parts i need on the eclipse? and what kind of turbos are actually on stock turbo eclipse's???

 

as long as you buy a manifold that will accept a mistu turbo. BTW try and get one off a 1st gen eclipse.

if you wanted to you could snag the sidemount intercooler if you arnt gonna run a front mount, and the bov's work really well...

 

it's a matter of choice, but I'd go second gen. I would rather spool a tad later and have power to redline rather than spool earlier and lose power just past 6.

 

Just pick up an HF Mani and adaptor plate

 

If you would rather spool later why would you buy a smaller turbo? The 2nd gens have a T25 while the 1st gens have a 14B/16G
