So im coming home the other day from school and ironiclly enough i am picking up my megan racing muffler that just came in. i park the car bring it inside and chill for about a half an hour and come back and turn the car on and my exhast tone dropped. it sounds like i have some kind of system on it and i dont yet. I thought it was really weird how it just radomly dropped in pitch, but it sounds really really good nice and low. My roomate said i probally have a hole in it somewhre but its not affecting the performance or anything. does anyone know what could have happened, and is this a major problem?

 

Most likely a small hole rusted through somewhere. You should be okay for awhile but Id be looking into a new catback before any other areas on it rust through.

 

yup you do have a hole...it will sound nice lol but its not doin nuttin for ya...get new pipes ran back to that muffler you just picked up
