okay, i have a d16y8 engine. its automatic. if you guys didnt know ...


i feel less manly ... SO. i was thinking ...

how much would it cost to change an automatic transmission into manual transmission?


in order to do this ... do i need to do a complete engine swap?




and is there any other sites besides passwordjdm.com that sells engines? cause the site isnt that specific. and im not too sure about the stages they refer to.

Hey buddy, not trying to be rude. But, i think you'll probably be able to get more people to answer this if you move it to the transmissions section

you would have to get a manual transmission and bolt that up to your motor and then you would have to convert the handle from an automatic to a 5 spd i beleive. i heard that a tranny swap was $1500 and you can get a b16a2 for $1000 more. maybe look into an engine swap with a 5 spd.

Must agree....engine swap is less of a hassle. And cost less. good luck with that.
