General Tech Help - remote key fob

hi i have just bought a honda remote key fob of good old e-bay and will need it to be re-coded is it possible to do yourself or do i have to take it to a main dealer for them to do?????

what year is the car. i have a 98 and bought 2 off of ebay and they cold be programmed your self. this site tells how to program remotes

it shows how for 96-98 and 99-00 jsut find the remotes there and it will tell ya how to do the programming

saweet dude. i try. cant beat $30 to get keyless. my buddy was dumb and paid over $150 for an aftermarket kit and all he needed was a few remotes to have it. oh well it wasny my $$$

it seems like the link is only for HX and LX models...what about EX models...is it the same FOB?
