Hello everyone,

newbie...i own a honda civic 1996 VTI model. It has been very good to me.

But i have one small problem and that is my remote key fob no longer works.

Honda want over £85 for a new one. Now honda tell me that second fobs which are pre-1999 cannot be re-programmmed as
they have static codes, so if i get hold fo another one, it will be no use to me...is this true ro dealship talk.

Can anyone help on this problem
