Default Installing type R lip on 00 civic ex coupe

I know there's a DIY on this site, but I'm wondering if two screws in each wheel well is enough to support the lip? I know the OEM Si lip uses 7 bolts and clips to support the lip in the middle, along with the two screws in each wheel well. There has to be a good reason why Honda designed the Si lip in this way. What do you all think?

I put 1 screw and 1 bolt at the side. Its really enough to support it.

On my mugen lip, theres no were under the lip to put screws since it sits lower then the bumper. You could put one on top were the lip sits on the bumper but it looks ugly. Other thing you can do is add a rivit at the side. But like I said, with a screw, that things not going anywere. Unless someone tries to take it..

Aren't you supposed to use double sided tape or something like that along the front and screws/bolts in the fender?

You could use double sided tape. I did, put I ended up taking it off after. In the really hot days it started to droop. It sticks just as well with a couple screws since the lip really hugs against the bumper when you screw it in.

yeah, that'll be plenty.. my entire front bumper is held on by 7 screws... 2 will be plenty for a lip...
