Default Installing Lip, Question (sorry)...

I looked through a few pages of searches so sorry, but I just have a few quick questions about installing my new type R lip on my 96 ek.

1)the top piece is supposed to sit on the bottom of the lower grill, not be completley under the bumper right?

2) if i just put to self tapping screws in each side inside the wheel well attached to the bumper, with that piece on the lower grill it should hold no problem, correct? or do I need to 3m tape the sides to the bootom of the bumper?

Thanks in advance.

yes and yes it should hold. if you are worried about it falling off then you can add some 3m double sided tape between the lip and the lower grill portion

On your generation, all that is required is a few 6 inch strips of double-sided (foam or not) tape. Then just some stainless self tapping screws for the rear of the lip. Some people use a bolted setup to slightly deter theft.

is this going to be a retrofit with blocking plates? b/c it's kinda blinding in factory style non-hid headlight units unless you have a proper hid setup with auto leveling devices.
