Ok, so first off i just bought a used 2001 civic ex and i want to add horsepower!

Some ppl have already recommended me with an:
AEM V2 Intake
DC sports header
Magnaflow catback exhaust

im very close to buying and i wanted to know if anyone would recommend anything else!
I also do plan to do an engine swap in the future, but i dont know when!
any suggestions would be cool!

 

that right there is a great start man. Good first mods are Intake/Header/Exhaust (I/H/E). After that you can get into the engine and upgrade cams, toss in a tubo, or go N/A and up the compression of the engine. Its up to what you want for the engine. Take a look at the thread "Got I/H/E what next?", some good ideas there. But the large throttle body you dont need, or the light weight pulleys or the MSD jazz- waste of money at this point.

Header
Exhaust
Short shifter
Aftermarket intake manifold

 

If you are going to do an engine swap don't waste your money.
