Ive had my single 12" box for like 4 years now, and when I bought it, I noticed a little neon tube inside of it (it has plexi on the sides and back of the box), but have never really thought of hooking it up. So how would I go about doing this? I should probably go look at it to give some more info, but it's late, I'll check it out some other time. Isn't there someway to hook it up to the amp, or am I an idiot? I probably won't keep it on, I just wanna see how it looks, don't need to draw anymore attention from cops to my uninspected car with no corner marker, hahaha.

 

depending on the draw it pulls u could just hook it to the remote wire and the ground off ur amp, if who ever made the box was thinkin ahead they might have hooked up an audio adapter so it flashed to the music, look to see if there is some little boxes in the sub enclsure that might give a hint to all thats in there

 

sorry bout the thread jack but i got to 10" pheonix gold octane r's (the ones with the neons) and would i hook those up the same? just with the remote and ground...

 

for both steve and d23ny, you can hook it up to the power and ground or remote and ground, cuz the power wire is + and hte ground is - so just match up the wires and they should work

hmm i tried it a while back but it didn't work.. i'll jsut try it with a better connection.. haha (jason) i just plan on takin out my subs and puttin in new speaker wire anyways so i'll just replace the ratty little wire i got for the neons wheni do that haha you should come over wheni do it it will be an adventure!hahahah jk
