New Member Introductions - Civic owner once again!!!

I finally managed to scrape up enough money to once again own a civic.
The last I had was a 90 CRX that I was building up, but as luck had it, someone
decided to steal my car.

Now I own a 05 Civic EX Coupe D17A2. Just picked it up a couple weeks ago.
I know that a lot of people are not big fans of the newer Civics, but you can't
beat a new car to play with. Seems like I am going to have some trouble with
finding the things I want. I got the windows tinted last week, I'm looking
at a Greddy cat back exhaust (which hasn't been tested for the 05 yet),
and a AEM cold air intake (same deal as Greddy).
Doesn't seem that the performance scene has quite caught up yet.
What are the major differences between 04 and 05?

Anyways, any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Welcome to another member of the 7th gen squad. Good choice. As far as differences between 04 and 05, I think that they're the same mechanically. A cat-back and an intake for an 04 should work fine on an 05.

I talked to Greddy and they said that their EVO 2 exhaust had not been tested yet on a 05 civic. I'm just weary because I don't want to drop $500 on an exhaust that won't fit. I know I can return it, just the crap of actually doing it sucks
