Default HID bright

WEll i had just recently installed hid lights in to my stock housings on my 05 civic sedan. But what I have come to realize is that my left headlight is brighter than my right one. Any suggestions?

Default RE: HID bright

not sure they should be the same brightness..... unless you got some crapy cheap HIDs and then ya got what you pay for.....

one thing to try is unplug your ballast and swap them..... if dim bulb gets brighter than its your ballast is weakr or just not right... but if the dim bulb still stays dim then i would say it could be the bulb or the stock wiring powering the balast... so now switch the bulbs, and if that one side is still dim then its the stock vehicles wiring, but if the bulb is dim on the other sides wiring then its the bulb.

just swap parts around and find the true problem. ya cannt just guess whats wrong. i learned that out the hard way, so it took twice as long to get the replacement part thru my HID supplier.....
