Default windshield replacement

I need to replace my front windshield on my 2002 civic (4-door) because of a crack. I've gotten quotes from $160 - 270. And each quote offered different things (top molding, lifetime guarantee, some kind of kit?) I don't know what to look for in terms of best value, since I've never replaced my windshield before. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Yea, have a professional do it. You really screw it up or not do it right. If you have insurance, it might cover it

^exactly. Check with your insurance company, it should be covered with a small deductible. I've had to do it a couple times and its cost me $100 out the door. Just tell them you caught a rock on the highway or something.

I used Safelight for my Silverado. $160 installed at my house. Guaranteed not to leak. I don't believe they guarantee against breakage. Neighbor had them do an Odyssey for $225.

If I were you, I WOULD INSIST ON A HONDA OEM WINDSHIELD,not aftermarket,WHICH ANY GLASS COMPANY CAN DO no matter what they or your insurance co says.
