Default Which intake for 1/4

I have a short ram intake on my d16y8 with 4-2-1 one piece header and 2.25" cat-back, high flow cat, and soon to be bored throttle body. I like my short ram but my engine bay gets hot quick. I live in Alabama. I can really feel when temps rise under the hood. I'm thinking about getting a CAI for 1/4 racing...I know that a short ram produces more torque off the line but it sucks in to much hot air. Would I help myself by getting a CAI?

yes. i think it was sacicons that said it, but if AEM makes a cold air intake for ur car then it pretty much beats the short ram for power gains throughout the RPM range. So if they make a cai for ur car ur better off it with.

SRI will help bottom end torque but thats about all it does. an AEM CAI V2 gives you 5-8 across the entire powerband
