Question Grinding noise?

I have a 1997 civic EX or SI(Canadian model) i just changed the clutch and put in a stage 1 ceramic clutch. The problem is, when i release the clutch and let idle it does a weird almost like grinding noise in the tranny or something. It also applies for when i am decelerating. Although when i press the clucth in, the noise stops ??? Can anyone help with the prob?

Pull the clutch lever toward the cylinder and see if the noise stops. If it doesn't it's from a bearing inside the transmission most likely. Did you refill the fluid? What kind of fluid did you use? It is not too hard to open the transmission up and change the bearings without doing a total rebuild.

My Cavalier does that, but in my car, it's normal for the car to do it. It's called the "Getrag rattle" and happens to random vehicles and setups. I went for Carbon Kevlar
