I got an Alpine head unit installed by an electronic store in my 4 door 03 civic LX, I'm trying to hook up my sub but the HU just doesn't want to come out when the clips are all pushed in.

once the two bolts were off under the HVAC nothing would move in the slightest.

Any ideas on how I can get to the back of the head unit? My friend thinks it might be just screwed down all the way around and we might have to take out the dash
