Some small update's,
We lowered the vtec, this really helped...1 and 2 gear is really point less, but when 3 hit's, it just keep's pulling, little scary.
We also placed the new JDM style carpet in, need's to be stemmed to fit better.
We also raised the rear about a inch because the tires were hitting the inner quarters.......so i broke down and bought the fender roller, so after i roll the quarters ill slam the bitch.
Now we had a prob with the car, when it sit's at a light the auto ECU thinks the car is in 3rd gear, so the car ran like carp.....we Don at RPM Systems pulled it off again, he some how fig out a way to play with ECU and TB....and now the car runs 100% better.
I also asked him to install a small amp because my wife likes to listen to her music, so with the amp and two front speak's all i have to do is hook up her Zen and turn on a red switch and the music plays.
Oh, because Honda Day is next month we are now getting the front clip and rear bumper ready for paint.

Well, i drove my hatch from my mother's house to my friends shop to get one final alignment, the fender were rolled and everything was good,.
Before i left my brother gave me a heads up on how for some reason, the car was loosing a lot of oil and coolant.....so he told me to keep a eye on it, he said in a week's time it lost 2 quarts of oil.
Ok, i set on my 81 mile hike, did my alignment and all my other things i had to do.
So before i made my hike back to drop my car off at my mother's house i decided to stop at autozone and see if everything is on the up and up.
Well, i almost lost it, because it was 2 quarts low.....i am talking oil was just touching the tip of the dip stick.
The car never over heated or anything, but the funny thing is that i have no clue where all this oil and coolant are going, my friend and my brother said it might be the head's.
So just want to ask you guys what you might think.

Thats crazy to be losing that kind of oil without a trace of it. If its burning you would def know by the exhaust. And I'm guessing there is no puddles to indicate a leak?

She is running a little rich, and thats because we lowered the Vtec......buts only black smoke, when it does come out of the exhaust, but even when that smoke comes out its just a little puff.

Not at this point.
My brother and i came up with some things to look for, one of them being the heads.
Another i found on another site was that this happens when you have a bad piston.
If this motor does have a bad piston, then my tare down will be sooner then i thought.
On the plus side, i have been chatting with this dude who just build J motor's, and he told me step by step on how to turn this thing into a real monster.
So i one hand i hope its a easy fix, but on the other hand i want this 300hp 275 ft monster.
I guess ill find out tomm, wish me luck.

Well the motor seem's to be fine, holding oil like it should, my brother said there might have been a air pocket....... i dont think so, but what ever.
I might switch to 5W40, i have heard that the 5W30 is to thin and might be getting past the pistion and burn up.
Ill keep a eye on it and see whats turns up.
The coolant on the other hand is still dissappearing to where i dont know, but it takes a week to get to the refill mark.
So ill just keep my eye on that as well.

Now i have a real set of CTR mats......buy i dont want to use them, just use them for a show, so i hopped on Ebay and picked up this cheap crap.

Now for the seats, i went with the cloth RSX seats, they had a set of leather but the picked the cloth.
You must be asking why, well first, i have NO A/C so sitting in this car in the heat will kill me. And the leather seats were ripped.
Now the cloth seats are mint with 20K on them.....but because these seats are in a junk car, sometimes someone forgets to close the doors. So they are a bit dirty.
But not bad for a $100.00
Now they have 2 other sets for pass seat with good bags, i will have to rip one of those out to make them mint again.

I had a coolant leak coming from the hose going behind the block that took forever to find. It was dripping out while driving and burning off. It managed to stay in the chassis somehow and all came pouring out when we put it on a lift.

I would have opted for no leather regardless. Yes, leather is nice, but it gets hot in the summer, cold in the winter, makes a squeaky rubbing noise when you shift your body in them (lol), and looks like crap after awhile of not maintaining them.
I am jealous of the CTR red carpet. I always thought of trying to get one for my car, but I really feel like the red would get dirty-looking/stained faster, and would clash too much with the grey interior. How do you like the red carpet? Do you have the fabric portion of your doors wrapped in that red color too?

Ok, well i wanted to wait a bit longer.....but ok.
The new C/F hatch is now on.
1st, this hatch is sick, but with all things that dont belong, not everything is going to fit.
One side of the hatch lines up great with the pass side, driver's side sits a bit low.
The FAL window does not line up that great as well.
Where the license plate goes, there are the light above it.....dont fit.
The spot where the license plate its self.....does not line up with the holes
2nd The Spoon Sports wing, now i bought this thing almost 10 years ago, even this thing not only does not line up, and Spoon decided to use larger bolts then stick with OEM one's, but the C/F it's self looks kinda like crap, for $400.00 i thought it would have looked a little better.
Other then those little things it looks sick, OH, now since the new hatch is on, the inside it 10 times louder.
The used but new to me RSX seats are going in wednesday.

All three are very short because i could not keep up=(

My brother just got a ticket form a state trooper, my Brother said when he say the cop he left off just when Vtec hit in 4th gear.
The cop got him at 97....in 4th gear, when he told me the story i wanted to kill him for beating on my car when i was not there, but on the other had.
Thats not bad, because there are still 2 gears left.

Yep, i am looking for a Type R bumper, because if you look closely you can see a gap of a inch on each side of the rear lip, the Type R bumpers are a little diff then the one made here....in Mexico.

Oh yea, and because the car still runs a little rich, the exhaust fumes are bad.

Yea, she really get's up and goes.
The rims are 17's with a +45 offset, right now i am looking at the TL Type S rims, but these rims are only for the road.
Just wait till i bring out my track rims.=)

Well i was going to do the whole 2nd file but like you and addiction know, there are a lot of photo's, so i think i'll pay the 25 bucks.
Well, right now my car is going to be in a frame in this movie they are shooting, i wish i could tell you the name, but every 5 min some else is changing.
Now its just sitting next to one of the main guys who pull's up next to my car, get's out and walk's away.....nothing special, but still cool for me.
I have also bought some things....like a Hybird shifter, $400.00 for this thing but well worth it.
I really dont know if it will work for my hatch because these things were made for the K motor, so really soon ill know if this was worth it for me.

Sorry i havent keep this up to date, since my farther past away, cutting hours on my job, my head is in the clouds.
Nothing really new, some new parts came in, everything is getting ready for Honda Day.
We are playing with a new ECU, my brother is painting the underside of the hood, back bumper + lip.
Don at RPM Systems has this little chip that will make my RPM's and MPH work fine, they just came in about a week ago.
The motor is being pulled get to get cleaned up for the show, i have started to get more parts for the motor, but once i am ready to do a tear down i will keep you all up to date on that.
Its kinda funny, after my farther passing, its reall hard to keep on topic with anything, even with work.
But thats where i sit now.

When the K series came out, people had a very hard time placeing the plastic shift cover over the shifter.
So some company came out with a set up where you cut a hole in the floor, place the shifter under the car, then a metal cover would be placed over the shifter so no dirt or rocks would damage it.
The Hybird shifter took it one step further.
They built a complete new shifter from the ground up.....for the K series.
It was built for the true racer, fully adjustable, so you feel right, it gives you the short short thow, adjustment to go up or down, and foward and back.

Saw my first J Civic yesterday in person. REALLY makes me want to end up throwing one in a hatch. He says he has about $4500 in his right now. He had a 3.2 in an EG and the hood closed.

Yea, Hasport now has a kit will let you swap it around.
For example, say your going to the drag strip, swap the mount kit upside down and now your motor sits under your hood, flip it around againg and now you can drive home safely.
Yea the J32 is good....but you really want the J32a2 CL-S, thats really the hard one to get.

Okay, i think of only you when i think V6. Just bought an eg coupe, mounts and cv axles for the v6 along wilth the j32 type s motor IN automatic. so i question your doings...
1. can you explain the jumper you created to get the automatic transmission computer to read correctly for the manual transmission?
2. do you have a list of transmssion codes that are compatible with the J series motors?
3. are these motors fly by wire?
4. New springs/struts on the front?
5. hondata makes a tuning setup to run the v6 ecu (have no clue on the ecu cudes for these) and a s300 ecu simultaneously for tuning. have any experience with this?

Most insane build i have seen. i am so tempted to do this with my dx hatch but she's getting a complete rebuild for now. She's torque-less and really want to change than but none the less. amazing build. i don't care how rediculous that hood is, it is very well done.

Cant give away anything about the new wheel, but its on its way form japan, thats all i am saying till i have it in my hands.

Trust me, with the cost of this Streeing wheel, it will be worth it.
Some update's.
The RSX seats are 98% in, they still have to be welded in, but its a matter of time.
I know the car is beyond dirty, its just been sitting for 4 months now, but sometime next month ill bring her out.
You should a take a straight on shot of the car, so we can see the engine through the vent holes :D

Well, if this guys want to sell....the yea, but he still up in the air.
Ok some things.
I bought a new steering wheel....i just recived a email and it said it wount be sent out till May, so i called a friend up and said if he had any really cheap weels laying around.
He said yea, $5.00 for one that he was about to throw out, so i jumped on it.
So i took it home and put the NRG together to see how it would feel.
Son of b***, thought it would take a little longer, a day or 2.
This bad boy came out of a Ap2 04 S2000 with 53K on the clock.
I hope this is worth it, i have seen some really nice cluster bezels made, so i am going to copy theres.
Just dont want to spend $300.00 for a Bezel.
