Anyone here ever been ripped off buy a Dealer? I just bought a car, well with a loan, and the stupid dealer just ripped me off about 3,000. The car costs 12244 plus taxes which equaled too like 15, 840 plus the apr (which is 5.9 and I dont know how but the apr charge came out too be 2000 dollars. I did it on my calc and 15840 times .059 is like 800 and something dollars. Wtf? Can I do anything about this? So to sum up we paid 17, 840 dollars for a car thats worth 12-13000 and we didnt notice until now. Im never buying that **** from a dealer again.

the apr is kinda tricky but thats paid each year on the balance of the loan....so your final number will depend on the term of the loan.

Anyway you bought a Honda so that is "Good News" by itself so don't worry
About the APR the faster you pay it off the less you pay, I think in your case you are gonna pay close to 300 dollars, so if you would pay 400 a month you could save a bit on the interest.

I have been there done that. When i bought my 2003 civic the price for the car was like 16500 the final price was 19800. But 2 weeks later i got in a car accident and the car was totaled:(:(:(:( But I know exactly how u feel
