Default 02 civic si dash lighting problems

hey again my civic si dash light went out behind the speed omiter i wondering what fuze that is or if ill have to replace the whole light and how can i do that. also how the hell do i get to that lmao thanks guys ill be wateing

hey joe, u got a repair manual? u should get one to knw everything bout ur carito bro. lol... i two for mine, da repair manual n da other is bout fixin up my civic.

My guess its a light.
You have to pull the cluster out to get to the bulb.

Tool: all you need is a small Philips screw driver

First, if you have a removable steering wheel remove it, if not tilt your wheel all the way down


Start off by gently pulling the top part of the black cluster trim

Then work your way to the bottom corners

Now remove the 3 screws with the Philips screw driver, one at the top middle and 2 at the bottom sides

Now pull the whole cluster forward a little and tilt I forward

And remove the 2 male plugs at the top

thanks so much that helped and i just ordered the owners manual for my car but thanks guys i can finnally see what speed im going lol

Had to replace the bulb for the temp and gas gauges. Very helpful info. Thanks a lot.


One thing, though. In the photo of the rear of the gauge cluster that identifies what each bulb does, I believe that the bulb labeled "spare bulb" is actually the bulb that illuminates the "cruise control" indicator.

Hey guys new to the forum. Was wondering if you can change the bulb color in the ep3 easily for the cluster because i noticed the led's are white but display red on the cluster any info is helpful, Thanks

Heey look, i just remove the vintage orange screen my cluster and drop those COB white LED and even remove the green screens on the a/c console
