2006 Civic
Hello All ,
I own a 2006 Civic sedan automatic , with 76000 kms on it. Great car for everyday use. The only problem I’ve been having with this car is a slight vibration that I can feel while the car is stationary for example stopping at the red light etc. I can feel a sudden vibration for a second and then it goes away.. happens almost every 30 seconds on idle. Over time I’ve noticed the vibration kicks in as soon as I switch on the air conditioning and then it’s a bit more frequent probably every 20 seconds and with a stronger vibration. So I put off the air conditioning and notice even central locking the car or turning on the headlamps initiates a slight vibration.
I took it to a mechanic and he replaces the spark plugs but the problem still persists and going to mechanics here(Kuwait) is more of a trial and error. They keep trying to replace this and that at my cost without diagnosing the problem immediately..
What do you guys think the problem could be and what specifically should I ask the Honda dealership to check for ?
Appreciate your views!
Thanks

Our old Mazda3 had a similar problem, and it turned out to be a bad motor mount. If you can get to them, look to see if the rubber is torn, or if there's any indication of oil leaking from them. If so, the mount is bad and needs to be replaced.
