condensor fan not turning on
OK, I have a 2000 Honda Civic, 4 door. I can not get the AC condensor fan to turn on. I hear the compressor turn on, it blows COLD air on the highway, when at stop or slow traffic, air is not cold. I checked the fuses and all are good. How can i over ride and force the fan to start? I can move the propeller, but when i turn on the AC, fan will not turn on.

Check the ground wire on the condenser. Then check if power is reaching the fan, probe the fan plug while still plugged in. If the fan has power but doesn't run, motor is bad. If the fan doesn't get power but the ground is OK, probably the relay. Swap it with one of the other relays of the same type on the car.

how can i check if power is getting to the motor? can i take the relay from the coolant fan and put in the condensor fan relay?

OK, i forgot to update this, it ended up being the ac condenser fan. even though it would turn on, it was working properly. I replaced the ac condenser fan and now works like a charm. Here is what the motor would do:
