Default Metal timing belt question

2007 Honda CIvic EX 108K

I am pretty sure my civic has a metal timing belt. How often does this belt need to be adjusted or replaced? Is there a certain milage or am I just waiting to hear a sound? If a sound, what sound am I waiting for?

The D18 engines used in 2006 and later have a timing chain system that does not require adjustment or periodic replacement. It should be good to at least 250K miles.
