well NOW ADAYS.... a good radar detectors gonna cost ya!!!!!!!!

just hope your local area is out of date and doesnt have the crazy new radar guns!

im still using a old cobra with voice alert BUT i got busted once and the sucker didnt go off until i was already pulled over!

no doubt he got me with the POP feature radar gun or something new that my old detector wont detect....

if you realy want to have a nice radar detector that you wont have to upgrade for awhile i would say this radar... this is the one im looking at geting eventualy...

i have an escort passport x50 and it works awesome haha i got it for cheap and thats why i bought it, and i turned off the x and k band to eliminate false alarms, in my town anyway they only use POP and Ka band, so im good to go and i love it haha it does rattle against the windshield cuz of my subs but i used a double sided tape haha it looks ghetto but works

absolutley true, but sometimes you just gotta....

go to the bathroom

real bad

or something.

haha but seriously, for people that cant go to the track everyday, or at all, when you see a nice clean strip of road its nice to use those parts you spent all that money on, or even hear VTEC! [8D]

i have a k40 rd850 radar detector... talked the guy at the performance shop down to $250 for it, and the company pays for any speeding tickets you get within the first year of ownership... any and all... it retails for $300, but its a really good detector, even detects laser, and its got led lights for the alert, along with noises... more lights = closer you are... it has served me well and saved me tickets on some long trips at like 2 am haha

well those radar things that say they will pay your ticket....
i definitely wouldn't test that out! LOL sounds like a scam to me....

but im with ya METHOD but IMO its better to know when they try to catch you or at least let you know they are in the area!

cause i don't care HOW YOU DRIVE.... when you see a cop your like O MAN... let me drop my speed, watch out, try not to do anything to attract their attention..... ect [8D]

i get a cop every now and then just start to follow me for just a stereotyping from what im driving.
tho i have noticed since i installed my twin loop muffler and got rid of that old fart can they don't follow me as much. so thats a good thing
