After reading through the "Professions" thread, im seeing quite a few people in law enforcement. Im thinking that we should use this to our advantage, and I was wondering what advice you guys and girls can give us for dealing with jerk cops who are harassing us about our mods. many of them here dont even know the laws, and are just picking on import guys. I know of more than one Evo driver who has been ticketed for "illegal" modifications on stock Evos. namely the exhaust and spoiler, even though they are OEM. any advice?

 

i have also met guys with SRT4s and new cobras who have been pulled over for the same thing...thats small man syndrome at its finest right there...little johnny grows up getting picked on, without a nice car, so when he becomes the fuzz, he will punish everyone who does have a nice car. cops that make that mistake should be fired, period.

 

amen to that. im tired of cops pulling me over just because i look fast . i will give one advice to people out there. if your a women then you got it easy when a cop pulls you over if your a guy your screwed unless the cop is like the cop from reno 911 lol

hey im a cop and i have to say that i have seen it alot...i have only been one for about 7 months. i have stoped about 15 people over for speeding but only 3 have gotten tickets and thats because they like to run there mouth when there going 90 in a 50. most of the time i like to find out what they have done and ask advice...

 

i agree, cops pull your over for having your car "modified" and it has happend alot to my frends for stupied thing, but they cant stop drunk drivers and people for getting shot and all this stupied **** going on

What do you mean by "GET IMPLANTS"? Do an engine swap with performance exhaust? LOL

 

I'd rather put the money towards an engine swap... besides mine have helped me out on more than one occasion...
